An ancient game, which had evolved from medieval times, began to gain popularity in England around the turn of the 19th-century. The official rules of live football streaming free were first established in the 1860’s when there began to be soccer clubs all over. This article will explain the basic rules of all soccer games.

1. The “field” is the actual soccer field. It regulates everything: line markings, soccer pitch dimensions, and so on.

2. The soccer ball never lost its original form throughout its existence. It is made of leather and must measure between 68 and 70% in circumference. It should weigh around 410 to 452 grams.

3. For a team to win, it must have at least 10 outfield players. Substitutes may also be needed. All equipment must be used. All players should wear the same shirts, shoes, shinpads, shorts, socks and other necessary equipment. Today’s jerseys tend to be lightweight and comfortable.

4. The referee always wears a black shirt or phosphorus green. A pair of assistant referees are flanking the main referee. They assist the main ref in making decisions and signalling game issues. A fourth assists with smaller game issues like replacing one referee or checking equipment.

5. The standard game time is restricted to two halves, each 45 minutes long, separated by a 15 minute break. This is not the actual time of play, however, the 90-minute clock will still run regardless of substitutions, out-of–play balls, or other interruptions. There will be mini-periods each of 15 minutes for knockout matches.

6. The ball is in play during the match. It can only be stopped by the referee if it has crossed bounding line or committed an offense.

7. Scoring methods include action, penalty spot and direct free kicks. If the goal area is full, the goal will be considered.

8. “The offside” rule is one the most tricky rules in the game. A lot of misinterpretations can sometimes occur when it is about fouls and misconduct. Fouls happen when a player kicks, pushes away or otherwise causes injury to another player while trying to gain the ball. It occurs when the ball in play. However misconducts can also occur when it is out of play.

9. When a team catches a non penalty foul, it is awarded a free kick. Penalty kicks can be awarded if a defense member fouls or plays handball in the penalty area.

10. The “throwin” occurs when the ball is gone from play. The throw-in will be performed by the opposing player who touched the ball the most. The “goal Kick” is the natural way to restart play after a team has passed the ball over a defender’s byline.

11. The “corner kick”, when the ball is passed over the defender’s goalline and with the defender touching it last, occurs.

It’s all there. All you need to learn about this very popular game.
